Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

BendEasy ("we", "our", or "us") is a daily stretching and flexibility app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use BendEasy, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. By using BendEasy you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what the app needs in order to work. Specifically:

• Account information: your email address and, if you provide one, your display name. These are collected when you create an account or sign in with Apple or Google. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever receive Apple's private relay address.
• Account identifier: a unique user ID generated for your account, used to associate your routines, sessions and streak with you.
• Stretching activity: the routines and stretches you complete, session timestamps and duration, your daily activity and your streak count. This is the content of the service — it is what lets your progress follow you across devices.
• Goal selection: the goal you pick during setup (for example Wake Up, Desk Relief, Posture Reset, Better Sleep or Splits Challenge), used to personalize which routines your home screen shows you.
• Purchase information: your subscription status and entitlement — whether a BendEasy Premium subscription is active. Payment is handled by Apple; we never receive or store your card details.
• Product interaction and usage data: anonymized analytics about which screens are viewed and which features are used, so we can find what is broken or confusing and improve it.
• Device identifier: a device-level identifier used by our analytics provider to tell one installation from another. It is not linked to your identity, and on iOS it is only used with your permission (see section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core service: saving your completed sessions, maintaining your daily streak, and syncing your progress to your account so it is there on any device you sign in from.
• To personalize your experience: your selected goal determines which routines are surfaced on your home dashboard.
• To manage your account, authenticate you, and determine whether you have access to BendEasy Premium content.
• To understand how the app is used in aggregate so we can fix problems and improve performance and features.
• To comply with legal obligations and to protect against fraud or abuse of the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, and we do not link it with third-party data for targeted advertising.

4. Daily Reminders

If you turn on Daily Reminders in your profile, BendEasy asks for notification permission and then schedules a reminder locally on your device. These reminders are generated on the device itself — no push token is sent to us and no server is involved in delivering them. You can turn reminders off at any time from your profile, or revoke notification permission in your device settings. The app is fully usable if you decline notifications.

5. Analytics and App Tracking Transparency

We use PostHog for product analytics — for example, which screens were opened and which features were used. This is used to improve BendEasy. It is not used for advertising.

• On iOS you will see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt once, after you first reach the home dashboard.
• If you deny that permission, analytics collection is switched off in the app and no further analytics events are sent.
• Analytics data is not used to build an advertising profile and is never shared with data brokers.

6. Third-Party Services

BendEasy relies on the following service providers, which process data on our behalf according to their own privacy policies:

• Supabase: cloud database and authentication. Stores your account, profile, session history and streak data.
• RevenueCat: subscription management. Receives your account identifier so your Premium entitlement can be recognized on any device you sign in from.
• Apple App Store: processes subscription payments. Apple does not share your payment details with us.
• PostHog: product analytics, as described in section 5.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the app — open the Profile tab and choose Delete Account. You do not need to contact support to do this.

• Deletion is immediate, permanent and irreversible. There is no grace period and no soft delete.
• Deleting your account removes your profile, your activity log, your daily activity records and your stretching sessions, and then deletes the account itself.
• Shared content that is not personal to you — the routine and stretch library everyone sees — is not affected.

8. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in managed cloud infrastructure. Access to your records is restricted at the database level so that your data is only readable by your own authenticated account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can delete everything yourself from the Profile tab as described in section 7. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to request a copy of your data or to object to certain processing. To make any such request, contact us at the address below.

10. Children's Privacy

BendEasy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Health Disclaimer

BendEasy provides general wellness and flexibility content. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Any activity data you record in the app is stored as ordinary app data as described above; it is not health record data and is not written to Apple Health.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page. Continuing to use BendEasy after an update means you accept the revised policy.
